From studio green screen to virtual reality

The Park Playground, known for its innovative VR experiences, introduced a new game called Mission Planet X. To support the game’s launch, we were entrusted with creating a compelling brand trailer that would capture the excitement and immersive experience of the game.

Our goal was to craft a high-impact trailer that would generate anticipation and interest in Mission Planet X. The trailer needed to convey the game’s adventurous and futuristic theme while appealing to both local and international audiences.

Our approach

We managed the project from concept to completion. Our team developed the storyline, wrote the script, and created a detailed storyboard to guide the production. On the day of the shoot, we executed the videography with precision, capturing dynamic scenes that highlighted the game’s unique elements. Post-production included expert editing, sound design, and the integration of VFX to enhance the overall impact. The trailer featured Belgian comedian and actor William Boeva, and we simultaneously produced a UK version to broaden the game’s reach.

 

Challenges
One of the key challenges was creating a trailer that would stand out in a crowded market while remaining true to the game’s essence. We also needed to ensure that the trailer was visually and tonally consistent with The Park Playground’s brand identity.

The result

The final trailer effectively showcased Mission Planet X as an exciting, must-play VR experience. It succeeded in building anticipation ahead of the game’s launch, drawing attention from both gaming enthusiasts and the media. The dual-language approach further extended the game’s appeal across different markets, contributing to a successful release.
